Haag Streit LENSTAR®.
Purpose of Use
The basic module of EyeSuite, also referred to as "viewing station" is designed to manage patient information in combination with examination data acquired with diagnostic devices of Haag-Streit.
It may interface to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems.
The appliance is used primarily in doctors' surgeries, hospitals and university medical schools under normal operating conditions. Users include ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, nursing staff and technical assistants.
The LS 900 is a non-invasive, non-contact OLCR (optical low-coherence reflectometry) biometer used for obtaining ocular measurements and performing calculations to assist in the determination of the appropriate power and type of IOL (intraocular lens) for implantation after removal of the natural crystalline lens. The LS 900 measures:
- Axial eye length
- Corneal thickness
- Anterior chamber depth
- Aqueous depth
- Lens thickness
- Radii of corneal curvature of flat and steep meridian
- Axis of the flat meridian
- White-to-white distance
- Pupil diameter
The appliance is used primarily in doctors' surgeries, hospitals and university medical schools under normal
operating conditions. Users include ophthalmologists, optometrists, nursing staff and technical assistants.
The Imaging Module IM 900® is an accessory to the slit lamp BQ 900® and allows digital photography and video for documentation of the human eye.
It is used at room temperature, usually by ophthalmologists, optometrists or opticians in their consulting rooms, clinics, hospitals or teaching facilities.
EyeSuite IOL is used to calculate the refractive power of intraocular lenses (IOL) based on measurement input form EyeSuite Biometry and or user input.
It is used at room temperature, usually by ophthalmologists, optometrists or opticians in their consulting rooms, clinics, hospitals or teaching facilities.
The Perimeter Octopus® 900 is used, at room temperature, in the examination, diagnosis and documentation of the differential light
sensitivity and other functional aspects of the human eye. It is usually used by ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, orthoptists
or other trained health personnel in their consulting rooms, clinics, hospitals or teaching facilities.
The applanation tonometer AT 900 D is an accessory for the use with the slit lamp series 900 and serves for the measurement of intraocular pressure. Due to its adaptation possibilities it is optimized for the use with Haag-Streit slit lamps. Thanks to its versatility the applanation tonometer can also be assembled on other slit lamps. Applanation tonometer serves to examine and diagnose the patient's eye conditions. They are manly used in doctor's practices, infirmaries and universities under normal environmental conditions
Applanation tonometry may only be carried out by qualified and suitable trained medical staff.
Federal law restricts applanation tonometers to sale only by or on the order of a physician or practitioner.
