Many of our patients prefer to plan a single visit to Arizona where they can have a consultation in our office, have eye surgery and the necessary follow-up exams within a short time. Your Return Home

Based on the exact details of your case, we will tell you how long your stay will be here in Arizona. It will vary with the eye surgical procedure, your medical condition, how far you are traveling, how you will be traveling back, etc. We are here to assist you in returning home as safely and quickly as possible.

Many patients are concerned about what they would do if a problem should develop after they return home. East Valley Ophthalmology understands this concern and fortunately there has never yet been such a problem. To be absolutely certain that you are doing well, we always maintain appropriate follow-up contact with you and your local eye doctor.

Travel Arrangements

East Valley Ophthalmology is accustomed to meeting the needs of out-of-town patients. Our will help you as necessary with travel arrangements, transfers, hotels, preoperative clearance, and your postoperative care.

Directions from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport

From Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (3400 E Sky Harbor Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85034) to our office is approximately 23 miles - about 30 minutes, up to 50 minutes in traffic.

From the airport, head east on East Sky Harbor Blvd, for about 2.5 miles. Merge onto the 202 East (clearly marked) for about 4 miles. Take exit 9 to merge onto 101 South for about 3 miles. Take exit 55 to merge onto 60 East for about 10 miles. Take exit 186 for Higley Road, make a left onto Higley and head north for a little over 1.5 miles. Turn right at E Broadway Road, up to the first light, about .5 miles. Make a left onto 56th Street and an immediate right into our parking area.
